To provide a vehicle body front-section structure which suppresses a disturbance of a vehicle-body side-face air flow at the rear portion of a front-wheel house only by devising a shape of a mud guard, and which increases the degree of freedom of a vehicle body appearance design more on a front side from the front-wheel house.SOLUTION: A vehicle body front-section structure includes a mud guard 50 which covers a surface of a front-wheel house 11 facing an outer circumferential tread 39t of a tire 39 within the front-wheel house. The mud guard 50 includes: a rear face portion 51 that faces the rear face of the tread 39t of the tire 39; and an inner face portion 53 which goes around the inside of the tire 39 ina vehicle width direction from the rear face portion 51 via a connection portion 52 to face the inner face of the tire 39. In the center height portion of a wheel and the neighboring portion on the upper side thereof, the curvature factor of the connection portion 52 in a vehicle plane view is set to be smaller than the curvature factor of the lower portion thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】マッドガードの形状工夫のみで、前輪ホイールハウス後部の車体側面流の乱れを抑制すると共に、前輪ホイールハウスよりも前側の車体外観デザインの自由度拡大を図る車体前部構造の提供を目的とする。【解決手段】前輪ホイールハウス11のタイヤ39外周のトレッド39tと対向する面を覆うマッドガード50を備え、マッドガード50は、タイヤ39のトレッド39t後面と対向する後面部51と、後面部51から接続部52を介してタイヤ39の車幅方向の内側に回り込んでタイヤ39内面と対向する内面部53と、を有し、ホイール中心高さ部位およびその上側近傍部位において接続部52の車両平面視における曲率が、その下部の曲率に対して小さく形成されたことを特徴とする。【選択図】図3
