To solve the following problems that a relative displacement is caused due to a positional gap between a top plate and a side plate when an inertial force acts on an electric component for a railway vehicle by acceleration or deceleration of the railway vehicle since the top plate and the side plate included in a housing of the electric component for the railway vehicle, which is suspended from an underfloor of the railway vehicle, are formed by separate members, high stress may be applied to a hanging tool when the relative displacement is caused since the hanging tool for suspending the housing is joined to both the top plate and the side plate, and the fatigue failure of the hanging tool may be caused by the stress when high stress is repeatedly applied to the hanging tool.SOLUTION: In an electric component for a railway vehicle suspended from a plurality of beams of an underfloor of the railway vehicle by a hanging tool that is joined to a top plate and a side plate of a housing in which the electric component is housed, there is a gap between a portion joined to the top plate of the hanging tool and a portion joined to the side plate of the hanging tool.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9

    【課題】鉄道車両の床下に懸架された鉄道車両用電気品の筐体を構成する天板と側面板は、別々の部材であるため、鉄道車両の加減速によって鉄道車両用電気品に慣性力が働いた際、天板と側面板の位置ずれによる相対変位が生じる。筐体を懸架するために吊り具は天板および側面板の両方に接合されているため、相対変位が生じると、吊り具に高い応力が発生し得る。吊り具に高い応力が繰返して発生すると、その応力によって吊り具が疲労破壊を起こす可能性がある。【解決手段】電気機器を収容した筐体の天板と側面板に接合された吊り具を介して鉄道車両の床下の複数本の梁に懸架される鉄道車両用電気品において、吊り具の上記天板に接合する部位と当該吊り具の上記側面板に接合する部位との間が空隙である。【選択図】 図9
