To provide a movement guidance device and a computer program with which it is possible to reliably specify a guidance intersection by a signboard and give appropriate guidance at the guidance intersection.SOLUTION: In the case of providing vehicle travel guidance at a guidance intersection using a signboard located in the vicinity of a travel route of the vehicle, when there is a plurality of signboards in the periphery of the guidance intersection and there is a signboard other than the signboard existing in duplicate among the plurality of signboards, the movement guidance device selects a signboard that is used for travel guidance from among the signboards other than the signboard existing in duplicate and provides travel guidance at the guidance intersection using the selected signboard.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8

    【課題】看板によって案内交差点を確実に特定させ、案内交差点におけるより適切な案内を行うことを可能にした移動案内装置及びコンピュータプログラムを提供する。【解決手段】車両の走行経路周辺に位置する看板を用いて案内交差点における車両の走行案内を行う場合において、案内交差点の周辺に複数の看板があって且つ該複数の看板の内で重複して存在する看板以外の看板がある場合に、重複して存在する看板以外の看板の内から走行案内に用いる看板を選択し、選択された看板を用いて案内交差点における走行案内を行うように構成する。【選択図】図8
