To provide a rubber composition capable of achieving both elastic modulus and fracture characteristics after crosslinking at a high level.SOLUTION: The rubber composition contains: a rubber component containing a multi-component copolymer which contains a conjugated diene unit, a non-conjugated olefin unit, and an aromatic vinyl unit; and 30-70 pts.mass of carbon black based on 100 pts.mass of the rubber component. The carbon black has a CTAB adsorption specific surface area of 65-140 m/g and a DBP oil absorption of 95 cm/100 g or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
