To provide a steering gear capable of avoiding a malfunction in a manufacturing process caused by a contact of an elastic member with an inner wall of a housing.SOLUTION: On an end face of a rack guide (222), there is formed a protrusion part (222a) for regulating the movement of a second elastic member (224) toward the radial direction of the rack guide (222). On an end face of a rack guide cap (221), there is formed a recessed part (221a) corresponding to the protrusion part (222a). A height of the protrusion part (222a) is set to be larger than a natural height of the second elastic member (224) and a depth of the recessed part (221a) is set to be larger than a value obtained by subtracting a height of the second elastic member (224) under a contracted state from the height of the protrusion part (222a).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
