To provide an abrasion measurement technology of a pneumatic tire capable of always accurately obtaining the abrasion state of the tire, by always, stably and accurately measuring the intensity of the magnetic field varying with abrasion.SOLUTION: In a pneumatic tire, a magnetic sensor that includes a magnetic substance in a tread portion and detects a magnetic flux density of the magnetic field generated by the magnetic substance is disposed at a radial inner position corresponding to the magnetic substance. The magnetic substance is formed by dispersing the powder of a hard magnetic material into a polymeric material and magnetizing it in one direction, and is included in the tread portion so that the magnetization direction coincides with the tire radial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】摩耗により変化する磁場の強さを常時、安定して正確に測定することにより、タイヤの摩耗状態を常時正確に把握することができる空気入りタイヤの摩耗測定技術を提供する。【解決手段】トレッド部に磁性体が内包されており、磁性体により形成される磁場の磁束密度を検知する磁気センサが、磁性体に対応した径方向内方の位置に配置され、磁性体は、硬磁性材料の粉粒体が高分子材料中に分散されて形成されると共に一方向に着磁されて成り、着磁方向とタイヤ半径方向とが一致するようにトレッド部に内包されている空気入りタイヤ。【選択図】図1
