To provide a fluid pressure control unit capable of properly examining presence/absence of fastening of a solenoid valve.SOLUTION: In the fluid pressure control unit, a control device includes: an acquisition section for acquiring a current value of current flowing in a coil of a solenoid valve of a fluid pressure control mechanism; and a diagnostic section for examining presence/absence of fastening of the solenoid valve, by determining whether or not the current value has shown behavior of temporary dropping, in a process when the current value at application start of current to a coil of the solenoid valve is increasing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
