To provide a novel steering wheel handling robot in which an oppressive feeling to be given to a driver can be resolved by reducing a volume of the steering wheel handling robot itself which is directly attached to a steering wheel, the driver can be readily ride on a vehicle, and a space in a driver seat is preserved.SOLUTION: A steering wheel handling robot 1 includes an annular hollow frame body 10, a wheel cam ring 20 that rotates inside the annular hollow frame body and has a diameter which falls within a predetermined range from a diameter of a vehicle steering wheel 5, a steering wheel securer 80 that secures the vehicle steering wheel and the annular hollow frame body accommodating the wheel cam ring, a motor 70 that is disposed outside the diameter of the vehicle steering wheel at a margin of the annular hollow frame body and drives the wheel cam ring, and a fixing arm 90 that is connected to the annular hollow frame body and fixes the annular hollow frame body to a vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】ハンドルに直接取り付けられるハンドル操縦ロボット自体の容積を減少させることにより運転手側への圧迫感を解消するとともに、容易な搭乗を可能とし、運転席における空間確保を実現する新たなハンドル操縦ロボットを提供する。【解決手段】ハンドル操縦ロボット1は、環状中空枠体部10と、その内部において回転し、車両ハンドル5の直径から所定範囲内の直径を有するホイールカムリング20と、車両ハンドルとホイールカムリングを収容した環状中空枠体部を固定するハンドル固定部80と、環状中空枠体部の外縁部であるとともに車両ハンドルの直径よりも外側に配置されホイールカムリングを駆動するモータ部70と、環状中空枠体部に接続され、車両に環状中空枠体部を固定する固定アーム部90とを備える。【選択図】図1
