To provide a hold wall cleaning device capable of obtaining safety and energy saving in hold wall surface cleaning work of a piling cargo boat.SOLUTION: A hold wall cleaning device includes: a support pillar composing body 1a including a hollow configuration support pillar 4 of a length approximately equivalent to the height of a hold, a head unit supporting arm 2 with the support pillar going through it and supporting its top end unit, a guide box 3 immediately below it, and a mechanical box 5 attached to a bottom end of the support pillar; a leg unit retaining wagon 6 for retaining the support pillar composing body at the very bottom; a lifting piece 7 sliding vertically along the support pillar; and a horizontal arm 8 going horizontally through the lifting piece and sliding horizontally. The support pillar is installed vertically in the hold space by having pendulum rocking of the support pillar composing body suppressed by the leg unit retaining wagon placed on a hold inner bottom plate by suspending the support pillar composing body by hooking the head unit supporting arm on a top surface of a hatch coaming, and cleaning of all surfaces on the hold wall surface by various cleaning tools attached thereto is executable by having a tip end of the horizontal arm come into the vicinity of all possible arbitrary points on the hold wall surface by having the support pillar installed vertically in the hold space and having vertical and horizontal movements of the horizontal arm supported by the lifting piece.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
