To provide an attenuation force control device which can attenuate swing of a vehicle body even when the vehicle travels on a rough road, and prevents riding comfort and drivability from deteriorating by the attenuation.SOLUTION: An attenuation force control device 10 includes: attenuation force variable type shock absorbers 20FL to 20RR which can change an attenuation coefficient; detection parts 30FL to 30RR which detect vertical vibration state amounts on a spring at positions of respective wheels; and an absorber control part which executes normal control that changes each attenuation coefficient of each of the shock absorbers according to a predetermined control law with a premise that all the plurality of wheels are grounded ground wheels on the basis of the vertical vibration state amount. When specific conditions including a condition such that a part of the plurality of wheels is the ground wheel and the remaining wheels among the plurality of wheels are non-ground wheels are established, the absorber control part performs specific control that changes the attenuation coefficient of the shock absorber corresponding to the ground wheel to a first specific value instead of the normal control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車両が極悪路を走行する場合であっても、車体の揺れを減衰でき、それによって乗り心地及び運転性を悪化させない減衰力制御装置を提供すること。【解決手段】減衰力制御装置10は、減衰係数を変更可能な減衰力可変式のショックアブソーバ20FL〜20RRと、各車輪の位置におけるばね上の上下振動状態量を検出する検出部30FL〜30RRと、前記複数の車輪の総てが接地している接地輪であるとの前提下で所定の制御則に従い且つ前記上下振動状態量に基づいて前記ショックアブソーバのそれぞれの減衰係数を変更する通常時制御を実行するアブソーバ制御部と、を備える。アブソーバ制御部は、複数の車輪のうちの一部が接地輪であり且つ複数の車輪のうちの残りの車輪が非接地輪であるとの条件を含む特定条件が成立したと判定した場合、接地輪に対応するショックアブソーバの減衰係数を第1特定値に変更する特定制御を通常時制御に代えて実行する。【選択図】図1
