To provide a rear carriage device capable of relaxing the total length restriction even when moving in a curved tunnel by a wheel portion that directly contacts to an inner surface of a tunnel.SOLUTION: A rear carriage apparatus 100 according to the present invention includes: a gate-shaped frame 10 having a pair of legs 11; a plurality of wheel portions 20 which is respectively provided on a first leg portion 11a and a second leg portion 11b constituting the pair of leg portions 11 and which supports the frame 10 to be able to move in the back and forth direction of a tunnel by contacting an inner surface 2 of the tunnel; and a slide mechanism 30 that displaces a wheel portion 20 of the first leg portion 11a and the wheel portion 20 of the second leg portion 11b in synchronization at the same direction of the left and right direction of the tunnel relative to the frame 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
