To provide a rotary mechanism capable of surely fitting a base member to a rotary member.SOLUTION: A rotary mechanism 100 comprises: a base member 120; a rotary member 110; a pair of pins 130; and a fall prevention member 140. A bearing hole 113 is formed on a side wall 112b of the rotary member 110, the base member 120 has a pair of shaft support walls 123 and is stored in a base member storage recess 112a. The pins 130 are inserted into the bearing hole 113 and open hole 123a of the shaft support wall 123, and a rear end of the pin 130 has an inclined end face 132a inclined to an axial direction of the pin 130. The fall prevention member 140 comprises a cylinder part 141, an operation part 143, and a pin extrusion protrusion 144 which contacts the inclined end faces 132a of the pins 130. The inclined end face 132a of each pin 130 is formed into a flat plane or curve surface for converting motion of the fall prevention member 140 in an axial direction into motion in an extrusion direction of the pin 130 from the cylinder part 141.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
