To provide a vehicular anti-glare device which can secure a suitable anti-glare effect even in the case where an inclination angle of an illuminance detection unit is changed, and to provide a light transmittance control method.SOLUTION: A vehicular anti-glare device includes: a light shielding unit 12 for performing light shielding with respect to irradiation light by changing light transmittance; a transmittance adjusting unit 21 for adjusting light transmittance of the light shielding unit 12; an illuminance detection unit 24 for detecting light receiving intensity of the irradiation light; an angle detection unit 25 for detecting an inclination angle of the illuminance detection unit 24; and a light shielding control unit 22 for changing the relationship between the light receiving intensity and the light transmittance based on the inclination angle. The transmittance adjusting unit 21 changes the light transmittance of the light shielding unit 12 based on the light receiving intensity and the inclination angle detected by the illuminance detection unit 24 and the angle detection unit 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】照度検出部の傾斜角度が変化した場合でも、好適な防眩効果を確保可能にした車両用防眩装置及び光透過率制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】車両用防眩装置は、光透過率を変化させることで照射光に対して遮光を行う遮光部12と、遮光部12の光透過率を調節する透過率調節部21と、照射光の受光強度を検出する照度検出部24と、照度検出部24の傾斜角度を検出する角度検出部25と、傾斜角度に基づき、受光強度と光透過率との関係を変化させる遮光制御部22とを備える。透過率調節部21は、照度検出部24及び角度検出部25で検出した受光強度及び傾斜角度に基づき、遮光部12の光透過率を変化させる。【選択図】図2
