To improve efficiency of navigation.SOLUTION: A method executed by a processor is a method including: identifying a plurality of roadway lanes on a plurality of roads; determining a plurality of lane groups in the plurality of roadway lanes on the basis of a traffic amount of each of the plurality of roadway lanes; estimating a lane-group level traffic amount of each of the plurality of lane groups on the basis of the traffic amount of each of the plurality of roadway lanes; identifying a location of a client device and a location of a destination; optimizing a route between the location of the client device and the location of the destination by using the plurality of roads on the basis of the lane-group level traffic amount of each of the plurality of lane groups; and providing route guidance to the client device on the basis of the optimized route.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
