To provide kneading technology for a carbon master batch, by which a carbon master batch can be obtained that has a higher dispersion state of carbon compared to the prior arts and shows little change with lapse of days and excellent processability, and to provide a rubber composition having excellent dispersibility of carbon and a pneumatic tire suppressing early-stage wear and chipping.SOLUTION: A preparation method of a carbon master batch is provided, in which a carbon master batch is prepared by adding and kneading carbon black with natural rubber. The kneading process of the natural rubber and the carbon black is carried out by feeding the natural rubber and the carbon black to a sealed kneading machine and kneading at a temperature of 110 to 130°C while injecting compressed air.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】カーボンの分散状態が従来よりも高く、また、経日変化が少なく加工性に優れたカーボンマスターバッチを得ることができるカーボンマスターバッチの混練技術を提供し、さらに、カーボンの分散性が優れたゴム組成物、および早期摩耗やチッピングの発生が抑制された空気入りタイヤを提供する。【解決手段】天然ゴムにカーボンブラックを加えて混練することによりカーボンマスターバッチを作製するカーボンマスターバッチの作製方法であって、天然ゴムとカーボンブラックとの混練加工を、天然ゴムとカーボンブラックとを密閉式混練機に投入して、圧縮空気を注入しながら、110〜130℃の温度で行うカーボンマスターバッチの作製方法。【選択図】なし
