To provide a hinge arm attachment structure for vehicle front hoods capable of exhibiting high rigidity against a load to be applied vertically at the time of opening or closing a front hood.SOLUTION: A hinge arm attachment structure (attachment structure 100) for vehicle front hoods according to the present invention includes a hinge arm 110 that bears a front hood 102 of a vehicle body front part, a hinge bracket 120 to which the hinge arm 110 is attached in a pivotable manner, a vehicle body flank panel (side dash panel 106) that forms a flank of a power unit installation room, and a cowl side panel 130 that couples the hinge bracket 120 with the vehicle body flank panel. The cowl side panel 130 includes a first joint surface 132 to which the hinge bracket 120 is joined, and a second joint surface 134 that extends upwards from an end inside in a vehicle width direction of the first joint surface and is joined with the vehicle body flank panel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
