To provide a solder iron used for repairing sheet metal for repairing a recessed part generated in the sheet metal for constituting a body panel of an automobile.SOLUTION: A solder iron is constituted of a heater member 2, a gripping member 3 and an iron tip member 4, and an iron tip 6 of the iron tip member 4 comprises a flat chip plate 8 of gradually reducing a thickness toward a tip surface, and a slit is bored along the chip plate width direction on the tip surface of the chip plate 8 in the orthogonal direction to a chip plate surface by two places or more so as to be capable of sucking-storing to the inside by a capillary phenomenon of a molten solder material on a recessed part surface of sheet metal and to be flowable-suppliable to the recessed part surface of the molten solder material stored on the inside, and thereby, a rectangular tooth-like body is arranged-formed along the chip plate width direction on the tip surface of the chip plate 8 over three pieces or more so that an oxide coating film on the recessed part surface can be rubbed-off/discharged by the reciprocating movement in the chip plate width direction when covered with the molten solder material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】自動車のボディパネル等を構成する板金に生じた凹み部を修復する板金修理に用いるはんだごてを提供する。【解決手段】ヒータ部材2と、把持部材3と、こて先部材4とから構成され、前記こて先部材4のこて先6は、先端面に向かって厚みが漸減する扁平チップ板8を備え、前記チップ板8の先端面に、チップ板幅方向に沿ってスリットが、板金の凹み部表面上の溶融はんだ材の毛細管現象による内部への吸引、貯留可能に且つ前記内部に貯留された溶融はんだ材の前記凹み部表面への流動供給可能に2個所以上に、チップ板面と直交する方向に穿設されると共に、それによって前記チップ板8の先端面に、チップ板幅方向に沿って矩形の歯状体が、溶融はんだ材で覆われた中でのチップ板幅方向の往復移動による前記凹み部表面上の酸化被膜の擦取、排出可能に3個以上にわたって配列形成されている。【選択図】図1
