To provide a fuel tank attachment structure which enables reduction of a concentration of a load near a fixing portion between a fuel tank and a vehicle body during a rear end collision.SOLUTION: A fuel tank attachment structure 1 attaches a fuel tank 2 made of resin to a vehicle body and includes: a tank body 20 which stores a fuel; a fixing piece 23 integrally molded with the tank body 20 and provided with a through hole 2h; a bolt 4 inserted into the through hole 2h and fixing the tank body 20 to the vehicle body; and a plate piece part 33. In the plate piece part 33, one end part 331 is supported by the fixing piece 23 and the other end side area 332 is disposed at the tank body 20 side. The other end side area 332 of the plate piece part 33 includes a facing surface 3f which is disposed facing an outer peripheral surface 2f of the tank body 20. During a rear end collision, the facing surface 3f contacts with the outer peripheral surface 2f of the tank body 20. The contact disperses a load caused by the rear end collision in a wider area of the tank body 20 to reduce a concentration of the load on the fixing piece 23 and an area around the fixing piece 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】後突時、燃料タンクにおける車体との固定箇所近傍に荷重が集中することを低減できる燃料タンクの取付構造を提供する。【解決手段】樹脂からなる燃料タンク2を車体に取り付ける燃料タンクの取付構造1であって、燃料を貯留するタンク本体20と、タンク本体20に一体に成形されると共に貫通孔2hが設けられた固定片23と、貫通孔2hに挿通されて、車体にタンク本体20を固定するボルト4と、板片部33とを備える。板片部33は、一端部331が固定片23に支持され、他端側領域332がタンク本体20側に配置される。板片部33の他端側領域332は、タンク本体20の外周面2fに対向配置される対向面3fを含む。後突時、対向面3fはタンク本体20の外周面2fに当接する。この当接によって、後突に伴う荷重をタンク本体20のより広い範囲に分散させて、上記荷重が固定片23及びその近傍に集中することを低減できる。【選択図】図1
