To reduce a parasitic capacitance produced on a sensor electrode.SOLUTION: At a rim portion 12 of a steering wheel 10, a shield layer 42 is placed between a sensor electrode 36 and a rim core metal portion 18, and the shield layer 42 is provided so as to extend along the sensor electrode 36. Hence, the shield layer 42 can further appropriately suppress a production of a capacitive coupling between the sensor electrode 36 and the rim core metal portion 18, and thus a parasitic capacitance produced on the sensor electrode 36 can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
