The control unit is configured to make a light-up time of the light source in a period until the light scanned by the light deflector is detected by the light detection unit no more than a prescribed number of times from a drive start of the light deflector longer than that of the light source from the detection of the light scanned by the light deflector by the light detection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
