To provide a sealant material composition that makes it possible to ensure favorable sealing properties and suppress travel-associated flowage of a sealant, and a pneumatic tire.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a sealant material composition that is for forming a sealant layer of a pneumatic tire, the sealant layer provided on the inside surface of the tire. The sealant material composition includes, per 100 parts by mass of a halogenated butyl rubber, 1-40 parts by mass of a crosslinking aid, and 50-400 parts by mass of a liquid isobutylene-isoprene copolymer with a molecular weight of 10000-60000.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】良好なシール性を確保すると共に、走行に伴うシーラントの流動を抑制することを可能にしたシーラント材組成物および空気入りタイヤを提供する。【解決手段】タイヤ内表面にシーラント層を備えた空気入りタイヤの前記シーラント層を構成するシーラント材組成物として、ハロゲン化ブチルゴム100質量部に対して、架橋助剤1質量部〜40質量部、分子量が10000〜60000である液状イソブチレン‐イソプレン共重合体50質量部〜400質量部が配合されたものを用いる。【選択図】図1
