To properly set an HV control range even when a battery characteristic of a battery is varied.SOLUTION: A use recommendation potential range is set on at least any of a negative electrode and a positive electrode of a battery 50. A travel mode switching part 602 causes a hybrid vehicle 12 to travel in an EV travel mode until a charging rate of the battery 50 becomes equal to or lower than a mode switching charging rate S0, and causes the hybrid vehicle to travel in an HV travel mode when the charging rate of the battery 50 becomes equal to or lower than the mode switching charging rate S0. In the EV travel mode, only a motor 23 is driven, in the HV travel mode, the motor 23 is driven for causing the hybrid vehicle to travel and a generator 31 generates power by driving of the engine 25, for maintaining a charging rate of the battery 50 to an HV control range SX for traveling of the hybrid vehicle. A correction part 606 corrects the HV control range SX so that, the HV control range SX is included in the use recommendation potential range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
