To provide a temperature estimation method that readily estimates a temperature of a levitation guide coil device in a magnetic levitation type railway ground coil device without attaching a temperature sensor.SOLUTION: A temperature estimation method is configured to: energize an AC current to a plurality of propulsion coils 7a provided on one side in a width direction of a track 1 to generate a magnetic field; measure potential or waveform of a current to be inducted to a plurality of propulsion coils 7b provided on an opposite side in the width direction of the track 1 via a plurality of levitation guide coils 6a provided on the one side in the width direction of the track 1, and a plurality of levitation coils 6b provided on the opposite side in the width direction of the rack 1; and estimate an average temperature of the plurality of levitation guide coils 6a and the plurality of levitation coils 6b on the basis of the measured waveform.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】磁気浮上式鉄道用の地上コイル装置における浮上案内コイル装置の温度を、温度センサを取り付けることなく容易に推定する温度推定方法を提供する。【解決手段】軌道1の幅方向における一方の側に設けられた複数の推進コイル7aに交流電流を通電して磁界を発生させる。そして、軌道1の幅方向における一方の側に設けられた複数の浮上案内コイル6a、及び、軌道1の幅方向における反対側に設けられた複数の浮上案内コイル6bを介して、軌道1の幅方向における反対側に設けられた複数の推進コイル7bに誘導される電位又は電流の波形を測定する。次に、測定された波形に基づいて、複数の浮上案内コイル6a及び複数の浮上案内コイル6bの平均温度を推定する。【選択図】図6
