To provide technologies that contribute to simplification of inverter configuration and energy saving measures.SOLUTION: The storage battery capacity is adjusted based on the detection result of the capacity of a storage battery 4 and the state of a car 20 during the pre-operation period from when opened elevator doors are switched to a closed state before a motor 3 is operated. Regarding the adjustment of the storage battery capacity, a value of the regenerative energy amount when the regenerative operation is performed between the floors with the longest floor distance is estimated by an estimation unit 16a of a pre-operation control unit 16 based on the car state detected by a detection unit 15. Then, the capacity adjustment unit 16b adjusts the storage battery capacity by appropriately discharging the electric power of the storage battery 4 so that (storage battery capacity)≤(storage battery capacity in a fully charged state)-(estimated value of regenerative power amount) is satisfied based on the estimated value of the regenerative power amount by the estimation unit 16a. The car state to be detected includes the car weight, the set nearest destination floor, and the longest inter-floor distance among the floors up to the destination floor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】インバータ構成の簡略化や省エネルギー対策に貢献する技術を提供する。【解決手段】開状態のエレベータドアが閉状態に切り替ってからモータ3を運転する前までの運転前期間に、蓄電池4の蓄電池容量およびカゴ20のカゴ状態を検出し、その検出結果に基づいて蓄電池容量を調整する。蓄電池容量の調整は、運転前制御部16の推定部16aにより、検出部15が検出したカゴ状態に基づいて、階間距離が最長の階間を回生運転した場合における回生電力量の推定値を推定する。次に、容量調整部16bにより、推定部16aによる回生電力量の推定値等に基づいて、(蓄電池容量)≦(満充電状態の蓄電池容量)−(回生電力量の推定値)を満たすように蓄電池4の電力を適宜放電して、蓄電池容量を調整する。検出するカゴ状態は、カゴ重量と、設定されている最寄りの行き先階と、当該行き先階までにおける各階間のうち最長の階間距離と、を含むものとする。【選択図】図1
