To provide a touch sensor unit that can reduce a load on an obstacle even when there is a time lag before a pinching prevention operation is performed.SOLUTION: The rigidity of a sensor fixing portion 41 to which a cable sensor 30 is attached is set as the rigidity elastically deformed by application of an external force F that is greater than or equal to the magnitude that causes a pair of electrodes 31b and 31c to contact each other and that is less than the magnitude that damages the pair of electrodes 31b and 31c. As a result, even when there is a time lag before a pinching prevention operation is performed, it is possible to reduce the load applied to the obstacle BL without reducing the detection sensitivity of the contact with the obstacle BL and without damaging the pair of electrodes 31b and 31c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】挟み込み防止動作が行われるまでにタイムラグがあったとしても、障害物に掛かる負荷を軽減させることができるタッチセンサユニットを提供する。【解決手段】ケーブルセンサ30が装着されるセンサ固定部41の剛性を、一対の電極31b,31cを互いに接触させる大きさ以上の外力Fで、かつ一対の電極31b,31cを損傷させる大きさ未満の外力Fの付加により弾性変形される剛性とした。これにより、挟み込み防止動作が行われるまでにタイムラグがあったとしても、障害物BLの接触の検出感度を低下させること無く、かつ一対の電極31b,31cを損傷させること無く、障害物BLに掛かる負荷を軽減させることが可能となる。【選択図】図7
