To suppress load fluctuation when deforming and to suppress increase in a load during a latter period of deformation in an impact absorber.SOLUTION: An impact absorber 10, which is located between a vehicle body panel 2 and a trim 3 covering an inside surface of the vehicle body panel, has: at least three or more cylindrical vertical wall parts 11 which are so located along a prescribed axis A, which extends from the vehicle body panel toward the trim, as to be mutually deviated in an axial direction; and a plurality lateral wall parts 12 which connect marginal parts of adjacent vertical wall parts to each other. The three or more vertical wall parts which have narrower width as one disposed on one side of the axis, and respective lateral parts are so formed as to have a substantially flat surface, and are substantially orthogonal to the axis. At a proper place on the lateral wall part located on the other side of the axis, an adjustment hole 20 which penetrates in a thickness direction and adjusts rigidity of the lateral wall part is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
