To prevent in advance that a cap is opened when applying a load to an assist grip.SOLUTION: This assist grip comprises: a grip body 8 which is curved into an arch shape; fitting bolt storage recesses 11 which are so formed at both end parts of the grip body 8 as to be opened; a fitting hole in which a fitting bolt 6 is inserted; and a cap 15 which is formed integrally with the grip body 8 via a hinge part, and closes openings of the fitting bolt storage recesses 11. Lock claws 18, 24 are formed on a rear face of the cap 15 and an inner peripheral surface of the fitting bolt storage recess 11 respectively, and those lock claws are engaged with each other in a form of convexoconcave engagement when closing the cap, and have a hookup relationship in a longer direction of the grip body 8. Engagement between these lock claws 18, 24 can sufficiently resist bending deformation at a load application time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】アシストグリップへの荷重負荷時にキャップが開いてしまうのを未然に防止する。【解決手段】アーチ状に湾曲しているグリップ本体8と、グリップ本体8の両端部に開口形成された取付ボルト収容凹部11と、取付ボルト6が挿入される取付孔と、ヒンジ部を介してグリップ本体8と一体に形成されて、取付ボルト収容凹部11の開口を閉蓋するキャップ15と、を備えている。キャップ15の裏面および取付ボルト収容凹部11の内周面のそれぞれには、キャップ閉蓋時に凹凸嵌合のかたちで噛み合って、グリップ本体8の長手方向において引っ掛かりの関係となる係止爪18,24が形成されている。これらの係止爪18,24同士の噛み合いが荷重負荷時の撓み変形に十分に対抗することができる。【選択図】図6
