To provide a battery abnormality detection system, capable of detecting a battery pack abnormality during parking.SOLUTION: A control unit 35 includes: a third calculation section 43 which calculates ΔTBy that is a difference between a maximum estimated temperature TBy(max) and a minimum estimated temperature TBy(min) among estimated temperatures Tby of a plurality of vehicle drive batteries 21; a fourth calculation section 45 which calculates ΔTBx that is a difference between a maximum actually measured temperature TBx(max) and a minimum actually measured temperature TBx(min) among temperatures Tbx of a plurality of the vehicle drive batteries 21; a determination section 47 which determines that a battery is abnormal when the ΔTBx is more than the ΔTBy; and a decision section 49 which decides the types of abnormality by comparing the estimated temperature TBy and the temperature TBx when the determination section 47 determines that a battery is abnormal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
