To provide "a collision point calculation device and a collision point calculation method" capable of calculating a collision point between a right-turn vehicle and an oncoming vehicle at a low calculation cost.SOLUTION: A collision point calculation device is comprised of: a first end point calculation unit 21 for obtaining, as a first end point, a downstream end point of a road link connected to an intersection from an opposite lane on a road ahead of an own vehicle on a straight ahead side of the own vehicle; a second end point calculation unit 22 for obtaining, as a second end point, an upstream end point of a road link connected to an intersection from an exit lane on an intersection destination road downstream of the own vehicle on a right turn side; and a collision point determination unit 23 for determining a coincident end point as a collision point between the own vehicle turning right and an oncoming vehicle traveling straight on when the first end point coincides with the second end point, wherein a collision point can be determined by a simple link search method using only a road link in a straight direction, not the Dijkstra method in which all complex road links in the intersection are used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】右折車と対向車との衝突点を少ない計算コストで算出できる「衝突点算出装置および衝突点算出方法」を提供する。【解決手段】自車両の直進側下流にある交差点先の道路における対向車線から交差点に接続する道路リンクの下流側端点を第1端点として求める第1端点算出部21と、自車両の右折側下流にある交差点先の道路における退出車線から交差点に接続する道路リンクの上流側端点を第2端点として求める第2端点算出部22と、第1端点と第2端点とが一致する場合に、当該一致した端点を、右折する自車両と直進する対向車との衝突点として決定する衝突点決定部23とを備え、交差点内の複雑な道路リンクを全て利用して行うダイクストラ法ではなく、直進方向の道路リンクだけを利用した簡易なリンク探索法で衝突点を求めることができるようにする。【選択図】図2
