The test unit includes a test wheel with a test tire attached thereto, and a monitor wheel unit 150 for measuring the angle of running of the vehicle. The monitor wheel unit 150 includes a monitor wheel 151, a pair of swing arms 152 (left and right swing arms), a swing shaft 153, a main pole 154, a bearing, a slip shaft, an angular sensor 157, an air-pressure cylinder 158; and a magnetic gear rate sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
