To provide a vehicle charge control device which can suppress an overvoltage applied to a battery during charging so as to protect the battery.SOLUTION: The vehicle charge control device includes: a chargeable battery 2 loaded on an electric vehicle 1; a heater 71 operated by the power of the battery 2; a control device 8 which controls to charge the battery 2 and to operate the heater 71; and charge state measurement means which measures the charge state of the battery 2. When the heater 71 is operated while an external power supply is charging the battery 2, the control device 8 can execute a restriction mode in which the current consumption in the heater 71 is reduced based on the charge state of the battery 2 measured by the charge state measurement means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
