To provide an improved method capable of recognizing the driving style of a driver on the basis of information on the power performance of a vehicle and the reconstruction of performed driving operations.SOLUTION: This method includes the following steps. In a reconstruction step 140, displacement components X(t), Y(t) of a vehicle arranged in displacement time series mvr, mvrrepresenting the reconstruction of driving operations are calculated in accordance with information DI on the power performance of the vehicle about the driving operations mvr performed by a driver. In a step 140, the displacement time series are compared with a time-series model tp, and a dynamic time expansion/contraction procedure is applied to identify the driving operations.
