To provide a driving force control device for a hybrid vehicle capable of reducing the reduction amount of driving force when the vehicle travels backward in a state where an engine is operated.SOLUTION: The driving force control device for a hybrid vehicle includes a transmission mechanism capable of setting a first mode in which a ratio of torque transmitted to the side of an output member among torque output from an engine becomes a first prescribed value and a second mode in which the ratio is a second prescribed value smaller than the first prescribed value and a second rotating machine connected to the output member so as to transmit the torque. The driving force control device includes a controller for controlling the transmission mechanism. The controller restricts the first mode from being set when the hybrid vehicle travels backward and the power more than the prescribed power is output from the engine (when a positive determination is made in the step S2 and the step S3).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 19
