To provide an aroma generator for a vehicle capable of controlling the generation of an aroma in consideration of the timing of an occupant entering a vehicle.SOLUTION: When an aroma controller 20 receives a signal indicating that a courtesy switch 2 has detected the opening of a driver seat door from an A/C-ECU 10, the aroma controller performs a control to start operation of an aroma generator 22 and then performs a control to stop operation of the aroma generator 22 once a prescribed time has elapsed following the start of the aroma generator 22 operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
