To provide a vehicle compartment lower portion structure which prevents reduction of a vehicle compartment space in a vehicle width direction upon a side collision for a vehicle receiving a hydrogen tank below a floor tunnel of the vehicle compartment.SOLUTION: A cylindrical hydrogen tank 22 is housed under a floor tunnel 12, which is disposed at the center in a vehicle width direction of a floor panel 10 along a vehicle front-back direction so as to protrude upward along a height direction, and includes a casing 22A having a load bearing property. A seat cross member 16 is disposed on a side of the hydrogen tank 22 along the vehicle width direction. A seat pipe 30 is joined to the seat cross member 16 and disposed so as to extend along the vehicle width direction. The seat pipe 30 and the seat cross member 16 are arranged within the height of the hydrogen tank 22 in a vehicle height direction, and also respectively located above and below the most outwardly protruded lateral end point 22A1 in the vehicle width direction of the hydrogen tank 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】水素タンクを車室のフロアトンネル下に収容させた車両において、側突時の車室空間の車両幅方向の減少を従来よりも抑制させる。【解決手段】円筒型の水素タンク22は、フロアパネル10の車両幅方向中央であって車両前後方向に亘って高さ方向に突設されたフロアトンネル12下に収容され、耐荷重性のケーシング22Aを備える。シートクロスメンバ16は、水素タンク22の側方に、車両幅方向に亘って延設される。シートパイプ30は、シートクロスメンバ16と結合され、車両幅方向に亘って延設される。シートパイプ30及びシートクロスメンバ16は、水素タンク22の車両高さ方向内に収まるとともに、当該水素タンク22の、車両幅方向に最も張り出す側端部22A1を挟んで上下に配置される。【選択図】図2
