To improve work efficiency.SOLUTION: An operation control device of a passenger conveyor according to an embodiment is provided to convey passengers getting on footsteps by circulatingly moving a plurality of footsteps connected endlessly, including a first acquisition unit, a second acquisition unit, a communication control unit and an operation control unit. The first acquisition unit acquires a pulse signal from a pulse generator which is installed on a drive unit which circulatingly moves the footsteps. The second acquisition unit acquires a detection signal from a detection device which detects a reference footstep out of a plurality of footsteps passing a predetermined position, in which the detection signal shows whether the reference footstep has passed the predetermined position or not. The communication control unit receives from an external device designation information which designates one of the plurality of footsteps, and position information which shows a position to stop the designated footstep. The operation control unit performs a control according to the pulse signal and the detection signal to move the footstep designated by the designation information to the position specified by the position information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】作業効率を向上させる。【解決手段】実施形態の乗客コンベアの運転制御装置は、無端状に連結された複数の踏段を循環移動させて踏段に搭乗した乗客を搬送する乗客コンベアの運転制御装置であって、第1の取得部と、第2の取得部と、通信制御部と、運転制御部と、を備える。第1の取得部は、踏段を循環移動させる駆動装置に設けられたパルス発生器から、パルス信号を取得する。第2の取得部は、複数の踏段のうちいずれか一つである基準踏段が所定の位置を通過したことを検出する検出装置から、当該所定の位置を通過したか否かを示した検出信号を取得する。通信制御部は、外部装置から、複数の踏段のうちいずれか一つを指定する指定情報と、指定された踏段を停止させる位置を示した位置情報と、を受信する。運転制御部は、パルス信号及び検出信号に基づいて、指定情報で指定された踏段を、位置情報で示された位置まで移動させる制御を行う。【選択図】図4
