To provide a vehicle body upper structure which has a high attachment rigidity for an inner mirror, and which can prevent water leakage to an electronic device side via a wire in a header panel.SOLUTION: A vehicle body upper structure 1 includes a header panel 2 to which an inner mirror 3 is attached. The header panel 2 includes: a device region 2F provided with a through-hole 25 through which a wire 5 that extends from an electronic device placed at a front side of a vehicle passes; and an attachment region 2R for the inner mirror 3 located at a rear side of the vehicle than the device region 2F. The header panel 2 is formed in a stepwise shape in which a vehicle front end 22 of the attachment region 2R for the inner mirror 3 is located below a vehicle rear end 21 of the device region 2F. Since an intermediate portion of the header panel 2 in the vehicle back-and-forth direction is bent, a rigidity is enhanced in comparison with a flat and non-bent shape. Since a recess formed near the vehicle front end 22 of the attachment region 2R can receive dew condensation water, etc., water leakage to the device region 2F located higher than the attachment region 2R can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】インナーミラーの取付剛性が高く、ヘッダパネル内の電線を介して電子機器側への漏水も防止できる車体上部構造を提供する。【解決手段】車体上部構造1は、インナーミラー3が取り付けられるヘッダパネル2を備える。ヘッダパネル2は、その車両前方側に配置される電子機器から延びる電線5を通す貫通孔25が設けられる機器領域2Fと、機器領域2Fよりも車両後方に位置するインナーミラー3の取付領域2Rとを備える。ヘッダパネル2は、インナーミラー3の取付領域2Rの車両前方端22が機器領域2Fの車両後方端21よりも低い位置に設けられる段差形状を有する。ヘッダパネル2の車両前後方向の中間部が屈曲しているため、屈曲していない平板状である場合に比較して剛性を高められる。取付領域2Rの車両前方端22近くにできる凹部で結露水等を受けられるため、取付領域2Rよりも高い段をなす機器領域2Fへの漏水を防止できる。【選択図】図1
