To solve such the problem that existing walking type work machines need a troublesome work when supplying fuel thereto due to shortage of fuel in the middle of field work, especially, an operator have to supply fuel while holding a portable can filled with fuel.SOLUTION: A walking type work machine in which an engine 14 is mounted to a machine body 1 and a handle rod 13 is provided rearward from the machine body 1 is provided with a portable can placing part 8 for placing a portable can 18 thereon in an engine cover 7 for covering an upper part of the engine 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】従来の歩行型作業機では、圃場作業の途中に燃料が少なくなって給油する場合に作業が面倒である。特に、燃料の入った携行缶を作業者が持った状態で給油していた。ことを課題とする。【解決手段】機体1にエンジン14を搭載し前記機体1から後方へ向けてハンドル杆13を設けた歩行型作業機において、前記エンジン14の上部を覆うエンジンカバー7に携行缶18を載置する携行缶載置部8を設けたことを特徴とする歩行型作業機とする。【選択図】図1
