To provide a wireless operation system that enables connection setting of short-range communication even when a wireless operation terminal and a device to be operated are apart from each other and the short-range communication is impossible.SOLUTION: A wireless operation system 1 includes a smartphone 20 and a seat air-conditioning device 10 that perform short-range communication. The smartphone 20 comprises: an acquisition unit that from a medium apart from the seat air-conditioning device 10, acquires device-to-be-operated identification information, information for identifying the seat air-conditioning device 10 as a communication partner for short range communication; an operation side wide area communication unit for performing wide area wireless communication; and an operation side connection setting unit 272 that on the basis of the device-to-be-operated identification information acquired by the acquisition unit, identifies a seat air-conditioning device 10 to be a communication partner, transmits operation terminal identification information, information for the seat air-conditioning device 10 communicating with the smartphone 20, from the operation side wide area communication unit to the seat air-conditioning device 10, and, via the operation side wide area communication unit, performs transmission/reception of signals for connection setting for short range communication with the seat air-conditioning device 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
