To provide an automatic carrier vehicle which can suppress diverting from a transportation route and travel agilely.SOLUTION: An automatic carrier vehicle traveling along a guide marker comprises a vehicle body, left and right tyres, a guide sensor mounted on the vehicle body and detecting the guide marker and a drive unit to drive the left and right tyres, in which when the automatic carrier vehicle travels in a direction to depart from the guide marker, the drive unit carries out a first control by which the drive unit drives the left and right tyres for the vehicle to travel in a direction parallel with a drawing direction of the marker and when the automatic carrier vehicle travels in a direction parallel with a drawing direction of the marker or travels to approach the guide marker, the drive unit carries out a second control by which the drive unit drives the left and right tyres so that a reference position of the automatic carrier vehicle body moves onto the guide marker and the carrier vehicle travels along the guide marker.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
