To suppress visual recognition of internal instruments in a vehicle-purpose inner mirror having a mirror surface and a monitor.SOLUTION: An inner mirror 10 comprises: an absorption type polarizer 22; a reflection type polarizer 26 that has a reflection axis D arranged along a transmission axis A of the absorption type polarizer 22; a frame-like transparent member 24C that is provided between the absorption type polarizer 22 and the reflection type polarizer 26; and a liquid crystal layer 24D that is provided inside the frame of the transparent member 24C, and can switch polarization passing through the absorption type polarizer 22 to reflection or transmission in the reflection type polarizer 26. Further, the inner mirror 10 comprises a display device 30 with the same range relevant to the liquid crystal layer 24D as a display range, which in turn can suppress visual recognition of internal instrument present around the display device 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
