To realize that connection of core metals is easy and is hard to be released, and weight saving and cost reduction.SOLUTION: A core metal for elastic crawler has a core metal body 1, and a detachable guide projection 4. The core metals 1 are connected by a first connection part 5 and a second connection part 6. The first connection part 5 has an arm part 5a which projects in a crawler circumferential direction from one core metal body 1, and a bulged part 5b in which a crawler circumferential direction end of the arm part 5a is bulged in a crawler width direction. The second connection part 6 has: a storage part 6b which stores the evagination part 5b of the first connection part 5 of adjacent core metal bodies 1; a fitting part 6a which fits the evagination part 5b of adjacent core metal bodies into a storage part 6b; and an open part 6c which is continuous with the fitting part 6b, and in which the arm part 5a of adjacent core metal bodies 1 is so opened as to be oscillative between a crawler inner peripheral surface side and a grounding surface side in the state that the evagination part 5b of adjacent core metal bodies 1 is stored in the storage part 6b.     【課題】芯金同士の連結が容易で外れ難く、且つ軽量化及びコストダウンを実現すること。【解決手段】弾性クローラ用芯金は、芯金本体1と着脱自在なガイド突起4を有する。芯金本体1同士は第一連結部5と第二連結部6によって連結される。第一連結部5は、一方の芯金本体1からクローラ周方向に向けて突出するアーム部5aと、アーム部5aのクローラ周方向端部がクローラ幅方向に膨出した膨出部5bを有する。第二連結部6は、隣合う芯金本体1の第一連結部5の膨出部5bを収納する収納部6b、クローラ内周面側に開口し、隣合う芯金本体の膨出部5bを収納部6bに嵌め込む嵌込部6a、及び嵌込部6aに連続し、隣合う芯金本体1の膨出部5bを収納部6bに収容した状態で隣合う芯金本体1のアーム部5aがクローラ内周面側と接地面側の間で揺動可能に開口された開放部6cを有する。ガイド突起4は嵌込部の上に被さる。【選択図】図1
