To provide a roof structure of an automobile capable of reducing weight-saving/manufacturing cost, by reducing the number of part items, by establishing a layout of an interior part of the automobile high in car height.SOLUTION: A first swelling part 11 is formed at an end part in a vehicle width direction of a roof member 3, a second swelling part 12 is formed between a central part in the vehicle width direction of the roof member 3 and the end part in the vehicle width direction, and a third swelling part 13 is formed at the central part in the vehicle width direction of the roof member 3. An upward recessing recessed part is formed in an end surface 13T at a swelling end part of the third swelling part 13, an end surface 12T at the swelling end part of the second swelling part 12 is positioned below an end surface 11T at the swelling end part of the first swelling part 11, and the end surface 13T at the swelling end part of the third swelling part 13 is positioned below the end surface 12T of the swelling end part of the second swelling part 12.
