To provide an electric traveling vehicle in which excitation control applied to a non-excitation operation type brake is properly performed according to a traveling state, and brake control which is suppressed in unnecessary excitation is performed.SOLUTION: An electric traveling vehicle comprises: a motor control part for controlling an electric motor on the basis of the displacement of a steering operation implement between and among advance traveling, neutral traveling and reverse traveling; a brake control part for bringing an electromagnetic brake to a release state or a brake state; and a traveling state determination part for determining a traveling state accompanied by the release state, a stop state accompanied by the brake state, and a transition stop state accompanied by the brake state. In the traveling state, the steering operation implement is disengaged from a neutral position, the electromagnetic brake is in the release state, and the electric motor is in an excitation state. In the transition stop state, the steering operation implement is in the neutral position, the electromagnetic brake is in the brake state, and the electric motor is in an excitation stop state. In the traveling state, when the steering operation implement is returned to the neutral position, the electric motor is brought into small rotation, and transited to the transition stop state on condition that a prescribed time has elapsed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】無励磁作動型ブレーキに対する励磁制御が走行状態に応じて適切に行われ、不要不急の励磁が抑制されるブレーキ制御が行われる電動走行車両を提供する。【解決手段】前進と中立と後進との間の操縦操作具の変位に基づいて電動モータを制御するモータ制御部と、電磁ブレーキを解放状態または制動状態にするブレーキ制御部と、解放状態を伴う走行状態、制動状態を伴う停止状態、制動状態を伴う遷移停止状態を判定する走行状態判定部が備えられる。走行状態では、操縦操作具が中立から外れており、電磁ブレーキは解放状態、電動モータは励磁状態である。遷移停止状態では、操縦操作具が中立、電磁ブレーキは制動状態、電動モータは励磁停止状態である。走行状態において、操縦操作具が中立に戻されるとともに電動モータが微小回転となって所定時間が経過したことを条件として、遷移停止状態に移行する。【選択図】図5
