To provide a scaffold device for work for an escalator capable of preventing an operator from being unbalanced when being on a work bench.SOLUTION: A scaffold device for work for an escalator comprises: a work bench placed astride a plurality of neighboring steps of an escalator; and an extension/contraction mechanism which is fixed to the work bench at an upper part of steps other than that on the uppermost part of the escalator out of the plurality of steps on which the work bench is placed, and extends itself so as to support the work bench and maintain the contact with steps other than that on the uppermost part of the escalator out of the plurality of steps on which the work bench is placed when a level difference is formed on the plurality of steps on which the work bench is placed while the escalator performs increase operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】作業者が作業台に乗った際にバランスが崩れることを抑制できるエスカレーターの作業用足場装置を提供する。【解決手段】エスカレーターの作業用足場装置は、エスカレーターにおいて隣接した複数のステップにまたがった作業台と、前記作業台がまたがった複数のステップのうちの最も前記エスカレーターの上部の側のステップ以外のステップの上方で前記作業台に固定され、前記エスカレーターの上昇運転に伴い前記作業台がまたがった複数のステップの段差が形成された際、前記作業台がまたがった複数のステップのうちの最も前記エスカレーターの上部の側のステップ以外のステップとの接触を維持するように伸長し、前記作業台を支持する伸縮機構、を備えた。【選択図】図3
