To provide a transaxle which can achieve downsizing and good power transmission efficiency.SOLUTION: A power division mechanism 3 comprises a differential mechanism having an input element Rto which an engine 2 is connected, a reaction force element Sto which a first motor 4 is connected, and an output element C. The power division mechanism 3 and the first motor 4 are disposed on a rotation center axis CLof the engine 2. A differential gear 6 is disposed so that its rotation center axis CLis arranged in parallel with the rotation center axis CLof the engine 2. A first speed reduction mechanism 9 which increases torque of the output element Cto transmit the torque to the differential gear 6 is provided between the output element Cin the power division mechanism 3 and the differential gear 6. A second motor 5 and a second speed reducer 10 which increases torque of the second motor 5 to transmit the torque to the differential gear 6 are disposed on the rotation center axis CLof the differential gear 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
