In the case that the degree of an encounter, the degree of emergency or the importance is low, the comfort of automatic driving can be maintained by presenting the information at the minimum awareness level.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】運転制御が自動で実行される第1状態から、第1状態よりも運転者による運転制御に対する関与の度合いが大きい第2状態への切替が必要な場合の切替を円滑にすると共に、不確定の自動運転が継続できなくなる状況の予測に伴って自動運転の快適性が損なわれるのを抑制すること。【解決手段】自車両の進路前方における自動運転が継続できなくなる可能性がある事象を検知した場合に(S12)、当該事象に対する遭遇度、緊急度又は重要度などを考慮して警報レベルを算出し(S16)、警報レベルに応じて、情報提示の形態と刺激の強さを自動的に決定し、当該事象の発生地点に接近する前に、余裕を持って情報を提示する(S18)。遭遇度、緊急度又は重要度が低い場合には、最低限の気づきレベルで情報を提示することにより、自動運転の快適性を維持できる。【選択図】図2
