To provide a rotation transmission mechanism which can realize a bicycle or the like that is superior in usability compared to the prior art.SOLUTION: A rotation transmission mechanism 1 comprises: an internal rotation member 3 to be inserted into a crank shaft 2 of a bicycle; and an external rotation member 4 attached in a freely rotatable manner to the internal rotation member 3. The internal rotation member 3 comprises: a disk-like internal rotation member body 3a having a crank shaft insertion hole; and five outer peripheral protrusions 3f that are integrally formed on the internal rotation member body 3a, and protrude to an outer peripheral side of the internal rotation member body 3a. The external rotation member 4 comprises: a circular ring part attached to the internal rotation member 3 in a freely rotatable manner outside the outer peripheral protrusions 3f; and five inner peripheral protrusions 4d formed integrally on the circular ring part so as to protrude to the inner peripheral side of the circular ring part, and arranged alternately with the outer peripheral protrusions 3f. An elastic deformation part 6 is arranged between the outer peripheral protrusions 3f and the inner peripheral protrusions 4d on a rotation direction side of the outer peripheral protrusions 3f when advancing, and a relative angle between the internal rotation member 3 and the external rotation member 4 is between 4 degrees and 30 degrees.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】従来よりも使用性に優れた自転車等を実現することが可能な回転伝達機構を提供する。【解決手段】回転伝達機構1は、自転車のクランク軸2に挿通される内部回転部材3と、内部回転部材3に回動自在に配設される外部回転部材4と、を備えている。内部回転部材3は、クランク軸挿通孔を有する円盤状の内部回転部材本体3aと、内部回転部材本体3aに一体形成され内部回転部材本体3aの外周側に突出する5つの外周凸部3fと、を備え、外部回転部材4は、外周凸部3fの外側で内部回転部材3に回動自在に配設された円環部と、前記円環部の内周側に突出するように前記円環部に一体形成され外周凸部3fと交互に配置された5つの内周凸部4dと、を備えている。外周凸部3fと前進する際の外周凸部3fの回転方向側の内周凸部4dとの間に弾性変形部6が配設され、内部回転部材3と外部回転部材4の相対角度は、4度から30度である。【選択図】図6
