To provide a vehicle exterior environment recognition device that can conduct accurate detection as to a three-dimensional object existing in an area having scan regions of two radars overlapped.SOLUTION: A computation unit 31 is configured to exclude a reflection point Rrr existing in a first exclusion area Ae1 set on one end side (a tip end side) within an overlapping area Asr having a scan region Arr of a right rear lateral radar 34rr and a scan region Arf of a right front lateral radar 34rf overlapped; exclude a reflection point Rrf existing in a second exclusion area Ae2 set on other end side (a base end side) within the overlapping area Asr; and calculate a representative point P of a three-dimensional object (a radar object) on the basis of non-excluded reflection point Rrr and reflection point Rrf.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
