To provide a booster cable which can block electric conduction when a large electric current exceeding an allowable electric current flows, and a terminal for booster cable connection.SOLUTION: A booster cable 10 comprising a first cable 11 including a pair of connection terminals 14, 15 and a second cable 12 including a pair of connection terminals 28, 29, in which a first battery is a lithium-ion battery 16, and an electric conduction control mechanism 33 is provided on the second cable 12. The electric conduction control mechanism 33 comprises: a changeover switch 35 which performs changeover between electric conduction and blockage of the second cable 12; an electric current sensor 36 which detects an electric current which flows through the second cable; and a switch controller 37 which is connected to the electric current sensor 36, and controls the changeover switch 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
